Meet the Instructor
Sarah Cawn is the “Sarah” behind Sarah’s Glass Art. She has over 25 years of stained glass experience, beginning in the Louis M. Tiffany technique, and later expanding to fused glass and creative kiln-formed designs. To view some of Sarah’s work, click here.
SPRING 2026 Class Schedules
Beginner Stained Glass Class
This class is for the beginner looking to learn the basics of the copper foil method.
Each student will learn how to cut, break, foil, and solder 2 stained glass projects. With this technique, you can advance further into the creation of sun catchers, window panel, lamps and boxes. Patterns will be provided by the instructor. Class fee includes glass, supplies and tools to make one sun catcher and one small project selected during the class.

Up to 6 people per session.
Each session includes 5 classes.
Each class lasts 2.5 hours.

Intermediate Stained Glass Class
This class builds on the Beginner stained glass class, providing instructions on more advanced glass cutting techniques while working on more complex projects. It is recommended that the student has continued to practice their skills learned in their Beginner’s class.
Students will create one project up to 18″ x 18″ selected from patterns supplied by the student or instructor. Glass purchased separately by the student. Other materials and tools will be provided by the instructor.

Beginner Fused Glass Class
Students will learn the basics of fusing and kiln forming glass.
Basic glass cutting skills would be helpful, but not required. Students will create jewelry, small plates, bowls, and tiles up to 6″. Class fee includes tools, glass and materials needed for creating the class projects. Attendee does not have to have a kiln to learn fused glass. Kiln operation will be done by instructor.
